For Santa Sweater:
Materials:
- Hook to obtain size (meet sizing)
- Blunt needle
- 5 pocket-size buttons
Here's some really cute buttons:
- Medium worsted weight yarn in red (about 300 yards needed) and white (small amount). I used Hobby Lobby'southward I Dear This Yarn in "Red" and "White".

E hook: 3.five mm: newborn
F claw, 3.75 mm: 3-6 months
Grand claw, 4.25 mm: 6-9 months
H hook: 5.00 mm: nine-12 months

– Rubberband, I used a 1″ ring, plenty needed to fit waist circumference + 1″
– Medium worsted weight yarn in blood-red (about 300-500 yards depending on size), small amount of white yarn. I used Hobby Anteroom's I Dearest This Yarn in "Ruddy" and "White".
Sizing:
Written in newborn size with larger sizes in ( ) as follows: 3-6M, 6-9M, 9-12M, 12-15M, fifteen-18M
Note:
If yous need to suit the length of your pant only add together or subtract additional hdc rows in red earlier calculation the terminal 3 rows in white.
Size Chart:
Waistband:
Ch 28 (32, 36, 40, 44, 48), sl st in outset ch, ch 1
Row 1: Sc in each ch around 28 (32, 36, forty, 44, 48).

Rows 2-viii: Hdc in each st effectually 28 (32, 36, 40, 44, 48).
Add elastic. Cutting the elastic to fit the band + one″. Sew ends together with threading floss. Fold the pant top over the elastic and sc through both loops (the other side of the foundation chain) together.
Keep to piece of work the trunk of the pant.

Continue working the other pant leg.
With crimson yarn selection upwards a run up in the eye of the crotch and continue with row 1.
Rows 1-11 (1-xiv, 1-17, 1-20, 1-23, ane-26): Hdc in each st around 18 (20, 22, 24,26, 28).
Rows 12-14, (fifteen-17, 18-20, 21-23, 24-26, 27-29): Switch to white yarn, hdc in each st around 18 (20, 22, 24, 26, 28). Fasten off on last row and weave in ends.
